Buyeo Seodong Lotus Festival
The Buyeo Seodong Lotus Festival celebrates beautiful lotus flowers and highlights the importance of preserving wildflowers. The festival’s program contains many events related to lotuses, and making paper lotus flowers and making lotus flower soap are two of the most popular programs among non-Korean tourists. Many popular tourist destinations are located near the festival grounds, including several historic sites from Baekje times (18 B.C.-A.D. 660), such as the Baekje Wangneungwon royal mausoleum, the Nakhwaam and the Baekje Historical Museum.
