The biggest kimchi festival in the world will be held in downtown Seoul to celebrate kimjang, the seasonal period of kimchi-making that has been designated as a UNEXCO Intangible Cultural Heritage item.
Seoul will host the Hangang Summer Festival, or Hangang Mongttang Festival, all along the banks of the Hangang River at parks across the capital region this summer. Mongttang (몽땅) simply means “everything.”
